Every quarter NHTOA’s newsletter Timber Crier contains regional timber market data, “Market Pulse” To obtain this data we mail a survey to key forest products industries, loggers and consulting foresters throughout New Hampshire; our goal is to gather regional timber market data that consistently reflects current market conditions.

This is more than an academic exercise. The Market Pulse Survey impacts you and your business directly. The information gathered is used:

• by landowners to determine the best time to have a timber harvest;
• by banks and lending institutions when approving loans;
• as a guideline for tax purposes;
• to assess damages in timber trespass cases; and
• by educational institutions for research.
• by the media.

For the data in the “Market Pulse Report” to be reliable for the serious transactions and decisions listed above we must get your response.
