The New Hampshire Timber Harvesting Council (NHTHC) cordially invites you to join us and celebrate the logging profession with loggers and truckers from across the state. With generous support from the forest products industry, the Loggers & Truckers Convention brings together the logging community to discuss current policy issues, socialize, and recognize the new graduates of the New Hampshire Professional Loggers Program.

The entertainment for the evening will be actor and comedian Rusty Dewees. Known for his “authentic rural appearance,” DeWees appeared in the films: Black Dog, A Stranger in the Kingdom, Pieces of April, Radical Jack, Mud Season, Where the Rivers Flow North, and The Devil’s Own. While working on the Patrick Swayze movie, Black Dog, he met the singer Meat Loaf, who gave DeWees advice on how to produce his one-man play, The Logger, a comedy in Two Ax, for which he is best known in and around New England.
Tickets are $40 per person and kids under the age 12 are free. Registration opens at 4.45 p.m. and the program begins at 5:45 p.m. Dinner, auction, and raffles. Advertising/sponsorship opportunities and booth space to display equipment are still available. Proceeds support the Professional Loggers Program. Newly certified and recertified loggers will be recognized.
Michael Sharp has agreed to be our auctioneer again this year. AND We have two skidder bridge sections to auction off this year donated by Michael Sharp and Chris Crowe.
