On April 26 the NH Farm Bureau Federation and the NH Timberland Owners Association toured Executive Councilor Cinde Warmington (Executive Council District # 2) through Grafton County. Included on this tour were the N.H. Commissioner of the Department of Agriculture, Markets and Food, the Director of the N.H. Fish and Game Department, and several members of the NH Farm Bureau Federation and the NH Timberland Owners Association. The morning consisted of several stops at vegetable, Christmas tree, beef and dairy farms and following lunch at Hatchland Dairy in North Haverhill the day’s tour concluded with a tour of Britton Lumber in Bath N.H. Tour host, Robert and John Moses took the Councilor through the entire process of turning an eastern white pine log into kiln dried lumber. Most impressive was the new upgrade to the mill’s edging and lumber handling systems.
Taylor, a Britton Lumber employee, shows around Councilor Cinde Warmington and Denis Ward from Bath, NH. He is a NH Farm Bureau Federation member and the secretary of the Bureau’s Grafton County chapter.
