You can now support the New Hampshire Timberland Owners Association’s (NHTOA) tax-deductible educational and research work through a charitable rollover gift from an Individual Retirement Account (IRA). To do this, instruct your plan administrator to directly transfer a gift to the New Hampshire Timberland Owners Education Foundation, NHTOA’s 501 c3 supporting foundation.
Benefits of Donating with Your IRA:
Donating to the New Hampshire Timberland Owners Education Foundation directly from your Individual Retirement Account (IRA) is both convenient and a tax-wise way to support the mission and work of the New Hampshire Timberland Owners Association (NHTOA). If you are 70½ years of age or older you can transfer directly from your IRA to the New Hampshire Timberland Owners Education Foundation without realizing any taxable income. For those age 72 and older, this charitable transfer can also satisfy your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD).

You can name the New Hampshire Timberland Owners Education Foundation as a full or partial beneficiary of your IRA, 401K, or other qualified retirement plans through a beneficiary designation form. Enduring assets will not be included in your taxable estate.
